A Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity

The Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain is many things to many people; an opportunity to learn more about one's self, a journey filled with raw human connection, or a time to face who we are vs. who we want to be. Regardless, we know firsthand that it's life-changing.

The Camino isn't known for its accessibility, but many who possess physical limitations have taken it on. The task is daunting, but nothing is impossible, especially when you have others at your side.

Join us on this incredible journey as we walk/roll side by side with you for the last 111 kilometers (69 miles) for six days, enjoying nightly dinners as a community, and experiencing all that the Camino has to offer!

For June 2021, we have two date ranges for you to choose from.

GROUP A

June 9-17
2021

GROUP B

June 19-27
2021

You're In Good Hands!

For a second time, we have partnered with Camino Ways. Based in Dublin, Ireland, this incredible organization has been guiding pilgrims on the Camino since 2011! They will provide guidance and help us with logistics. Additionally, Justin and Patrick will be walking alongside you!

The French Route: Last 111 km

We chose the last 111 km of the Camino, starting in Sarria and ending in Santiago de Compostela. This stretch allows us to manage accessibility while ensuring you can get your Compostela (certificate of completion)!

What's The Group Size?

We have a total of 50 spots per date range. We aim for a 5 to 1 ratio of helpers to those needing assistance. Each group's makeup is dependent upon who applies and we will give priority to individuals who need assistance and their helpers. Remaining slots will be given to those who want to help.

Space is limited, as half of the spots have been filled.

Can I Go If I'm NOT Disabled?

ABSOLUTELY YES! During the application process, let us know your intention of coming to help where needed. However, we will give priority to family and friends of disabled individuals who need help.

What Type Of Wheelchair Do You Require?

YOU WILL NEED A MANUAL WHEELCHAIR. Due to the nature of the trail, availability of electricity, and the need for lighter weight wheelchairs, we require individuals who use wheelchairs to bring a manual chair. We can discuss how to make what you have work when we interview you.
